Dr. Veena Ramesh is a skilled endodontist at Scarsdale Endo known for her dedication to patient care. By combining extensive education with the latest advancements in the field, she ensures every patient receives the highest quality treatment.
Dr. Ramesh’s journey began at Boston University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2009. Distinguishing herself early on, she graduated with academic honors and secured a place on the Dean’s List.
Following graduation, Dr. Ramesh completed a rigorous one-year General Practice Residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Before transitioning to her specialty, she spent four years practicing as a general dentist in Fairfield County, Connecticut. This extensive background allows her to approach patient care with a holistic understanding of general dental needs.
Driven by a passion for root canal therapy and saving natural teeth, Dr. Ramesh pursued advanced training at the prestigious New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. She successfully completed the rigorous two-year Advanced Education Program in Endodontics, specializing in the intricate techniques of endodontic treatment.
During her specialization at NYU, Dr. Ramesh actively engaged in research focused on the innovative field of Regenerative Endodontics. Her research contributions were recognized when she received an award for her presentation at the esteemed annual American Association of Endodontists (AAE) meeting in 2016.
Prior to her dental education and practice in the United States, Dr. Ramesh also earned her bachelor’s degree in dental surgery in India, providing her with a broad and international perspective on dental care.
Dr. Ramesh possesses comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of non-surgical and microsurgical endodontics, including complex root canal procedures and apical surgeries. She is dedicated to utilizing the latest advancements in endodontic technology and techniques to ensure optimal treatment outcomes and patient comfort.
